PrivateMeds Patient Survey Results

Every year PrivateMeds issues a survey to a random selection of our patients to enable us to measure our performance and where possible improve on any aspect of our service that we deem necessary.

PrivateMeds aims provide information, health assessment and treatment at affordable prices to allow patient’s a convenient choice to the NHS.

Regulatory Approval

PrivateMeds Ltd has been approved by the Care Quality Commission to provide the services that are offered on our website. It is an offence to offer private medical services in the UK without the approval of the Care Quality Commission. Our Certificate number is: 1-121878329 and Service number: 1-101114968. All the doctors who work at PrivateMeds are registered with the General Medical Council.

The pharmacy who dispense any treatments is registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

Terms and Condition

PrivateMeds full terms and conditions are available at Terms and Conditions and you must accept these to use our services. It is against the guidance of the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority to provide prices for our treatments prior to a medical consultation however our prices are made clear once you complete a consultation questionnaire. You will see that our prices are highly competitive. Payment can be made by debit or credit card.

Complaints

PrivateMeds has a written complaints policy and procedures. We aim to respond to all formal written complaints within five working days of receiving them. To make a complaint please write to Complaints, PrivateMeds Ltd., The Old Vicarage, Market Street, Castle Donington, Derby, DE74 2JB.

Patient’s Views

Your feedback on the services we provide is vital to help us get better. We will formally seek patient’s views every year and publish the results on our website. Please also feel free to share your views at any time through the “Contact Us” section of the website.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Private Meds are registered under the Data Protection Act. Registration No. Z1472082.

When you order, we need to know a few details such as your name, email address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you of your order status. We also ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order.

We may occasionally use the information we collect to notify you about important functionality changes on the Web site and PrivateMeds promotions we think you'll find valuable. You may notify us that you do not wish to receive this promotional information at registration, or at any time by following the instructions on the emails you receive.
